Bi-stills

Mono-distiller Order-No.2102

Execution and characteristics
  • Bi-distiller (fully automatic), suitable for wall mounting and table installation.
  • Very good distillate quality, conductance mono-distillate approx. 2.2 μs / cm at 25 ° C; Conductivity Bi distillate approx. 1.6 μs / cm at 25 ° C (see "Technical data").
  • Electronic level monitoring during the entire distillation process.
  • Electronic Dirt Monitor switches off the appliance if the water in the 1st stage still is heavily contaminated, the red "Cleaning" indicator lights up.
  • Double water shortage protection by float switch and second thermostatic overtemperature protection switch.
  • Energy savings by distillation of the heated cooling water.
  • Water savings through automatic shutdown. Unnecessary water consumption is avoided.
  • Condensers (radiator): 1st stage made of stainless steel; 2nd stage including splashwater barrier made of DURAN® borosilicate glass 3.3.
  • Distillation bubble easily accessible for cleaning purposes.
  • Distillate removal: for mono-distillate Stopcock made of borosilicate glass 3.3 with plug made of PTFE, for bi-distillate free drain with dust protection bowl made of borosilicate glass 3.3.
  • CO 2 degassing opening on the condenser.
  • Tubular heater and stainless steel blast pot
  • Double-walled housing. Outer housing consists of electrolytically galvanized sheet steel, electrostatically powder-coated with epoxy resin.
  • Water supply via built-in solenoid valve with connection for water pressure hose 1/2 "(inner ø approx. 12.7 mm).
  • Cooling water outlet with hose connection 3/4 "(ø approx. 19.0 mm).
  • Hoses for water supply and drain are available as an option.

  • areas of application

GFL water distillers are required in research and development for bacteriological and medical sample preparation, for the preparation of cell and tissue cultures as well as for the production of reagents and ointments. In addition, distillate is used for cleaning and sterilization processes, for buffer solutions as well as for microbiological and analytical applications, especially for HPLC.

    * Average value determined by Institut Fresenius for operation with tap water. The distillate quality depends on the raw water quality.
